The Store is open while I’m away
June 4th, 2012
Most of you know the score: I’m headed north till August – without a dime to my name – to take advantage of the movie about me coming out and to release my first book, leaving a wonderful woman behind and the store in safe hands. We need your business now more than ever.
You can see the trailer and screening schedule for Stephen Gyllenhaal’s Grassroots, starring Jason Biggs, Joel David Moore (as me), Lauren Ambrose and Cedric the Entertainer at www.grassrootsthefilm.com
You can buy a copy of my book, ‘The Dream of the Cold War: Poems 1998-2008′ at www.thedreamofthecoldwar.com and follow the progress of the book tour by liking The Dream of the Cold War on Facebook.
You can choose from over 3,000 of the highest quality English titles available in Mexico by coming into the store between 12-7 weekdays and 12-5 weekends (excepting Wednesday, when we’re closed) at the end of Cerrada Chiapas (that’s off Calle Chiapas in Colonia Roma Norte between Merida and Cordoba, just two blocks from Metro and Metrobus Hospital General) from now until Christmas Eve, and you can donate books or money at www.underthevolcanobooks.com
Poetry Group meets every first and third Monday at 5. Conversation club Thursdays and Friday After Hours will be suspended until I am back in the city in August.
Sorry for the all-business tone, I’m busy as fuck.
Saludos!
